My Happiness E P is an 8-year-old mare by Credit Winner.

If her performance at The Meadowlands on Friday night is any indication, we may have a new player in the older trotting mare ranks. My Happiness E P uncorked a furious late kick to win the fifth leg of the Miss Versatility in a sizzling 1:51 3/5.

Barn Doll took charge in the early stages but gave way between the 28-second opening quarter and 56-second half-mile clocking. It was now the favored Charmed Life on the engine and she would roll to a quick 1:23 2/5 three quarter time while on an open lead of a couple of lengths.

At the head of the lane, Charmed Life appeared to be home-free as Barn Doll chased in vein, but the fractions started to take their toll in deep stretch and My Happiness E P found her best stride. The European import, making just her second start for trainer Ake Svanstedt, made up multiple lengths in the final eighth to seal the deal for driver Andrew McCarthy on the wire.

Barn Doll finally passed Charmed Life late to be second.

My Happiness E P is owned by Pal Granlund and Thomas Grini, both from Norway.
