Friday, April 6 NOT AFRAID (SUMMER SURVIVOR) – Raced off bad cover and got in gear way too late. It was a nice educational mile for a colt that has been kept near the front in most of his starts. TIA MARIA HANOVER (NW6500) – Was stuck in a bad spot last on the rail behind a tiring foe, angled out and came on nicely but had to grab up late when blocked just before the wire. Mare still looks sharp and only needs a better post. NITE GAMES (NW10000) – Got caught third-over behind a very slow pace. She closed in nicely but had no chance. MONSIGNOR FLAN (NW6525) – Showed good trot at both ends of the mile and gets to stay in this class next week. I’d say a win is very likely. SIR LBS Z TAM (QUA) – Was patient most of the mile, finished willingly and was strong under the wire. He is eligible for the non-winners of 1 level. FOR A DANCER (QUA) – Won on her own like the classy 3yo that she has proven to be. Saturday, April 7 MICKEY HANOVER (NW12850) – Was hounded on the engine every step of the mile and still dug in gamely to only lose by a length.   (Horses which previously appeared but have yet to race) Saturday, March 31 ARTS IDEAL HANOVER (SUMMER SURVIVOR) – Had to wait for room and finished up willingly. We might see more from him with that race under his belt. Friday, March 16 A FORTUNES LEGACY (NW8000) – Was basically last at the head of the lane. She was finishing up steadily when a breaker blocked her path in the lane. She fits the bottom condition anywhere and could be interesting in the right spot.
