Race 1

(7) TRIXTON was a $360,000 Lexington-Select yearling purchase last year and has looked the part during morning qualifying action. (8) CHERRY HILL PARK raced wide the entire final turn and understandably tired in the stretch. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a horse race wide for that span. (1) ANOTHER TRANSCRIPT faced two very promising youngsters in his career debut and could show more now.

Race 2

(9) DISTINCT COLOR comes off a sharp win at Goshen and seems to have early speed if driver Monica Banca needs it. (8) DANGER SIGN N was very much at home against this class back at Scioto; clear threat. (6) DOCDOR LAUGHING should be flashing speed and could take these a long way. (5) BAMBINAS SORELLA is another with a fast early step.

Race 3

(6) WEVE GOT IT ALL seems to be on the right path with Lasix added. I’ll take a shot with her against a questionable bunch. (8) CHA CHA MAGIC gets some major class relief and would figure to show more. (9) CLEMENTINE DREAM closed well in her lone start but is stuck outside again.

Race 4

(3) CURRENT CRISIS won a similar race here in May. He isn’t the fastest horse off the gate, but if Krivelin can get this guy around the two to his inside, he should avoid traffic in this large field. (4) WHATNBLAZES has been racing well for some time now. (8) WYGANT PRINCE has been protected in conditioned events and should be at home against this group. (9) REALLY REALY SWEET has won 50% of her races this year.

Race 5

(3) SANDBETWEENURTOES looked very good winning her qualifier last time and has a post edge on her main rivals. (9) ACT NOW flashed good pace at both ends of the mile while second behind the top one last time. (7) NIKITES broke in her only pari-mutuel event but appears to have some ability.

Race 6

(6) FASHION ATHENA hardly jumps off the page but she seems capable at a price if she minds her manners. (1) SHARED PAST is probably the one to beat. If she is at least 5-2, I’d bite. (4) MISS STEELE couldn’t handle some tough ladies last week. This spot is much easier.

Race 7

(5) ABROKENART HANOVER finally gets a reasonable post to work with and should make the front in a hurry. (2) BEST BOSS was part of a pretty quick pace last week and came up a bit flat late. She fits nicely with this bunch. (10) CAROLSIDEAL has speed to overcome the bad post and comes off a win at this level.

Race 8

(2) B L CLASS ACT has gotten the job done here before and none in this field jump off the page. (6) LUCKYCHARM HANOVER is racing well but lacks the desire to beat horses in the stretch. (3) PURE BARRE should flash speed and get at least an exotics spot. (5) FOUNTAINBLEAU VOLO gets Lachance back in the bike. (9) YOUR SO VAIN could be a legitimate Hambletonian contender if he gets his act together.

Race 9

(4) LIZS LIL K K drops to the basement conditions and seems to wake up in these easy spots. (8) SUPERSTAR DREAM & (6) KISSMATT look like the only early speed players in the field.

Race 10

(3) WALLTOCOUSINS faced much, much tougher two weeks ago at the Meadowlands. This is a great spot. (2) WINDSUN GALLIANO seems to have gone sour over the last few weeks, but could wake up on the class drop. (4) VAPORSTAR trots a 1:55 mile every week and that should be good for a check.

Race 11

(5) HOT SHOT BLUE CHIP hasn’t been able to get on track yet this year, but assuming he shows speed,  Callahan should be sitting pretty behind (9) SEVRUGA with an upset chance. The latter has put together a super season and is clearly the one to beat. (4) SOUTHWIND PEPINO has been racing great at Scioto and seems like a strange horse to ship east to race for only a few extra dollars unless he is in-to-go in the sale.

Race 12

(4) ALL TROT looked very good winning last time and seems to have a clear edge on this group. (1) BETHEL HANOVER seems to have a bit of GO to her. (8) TORNADO showed signs of life on the class drop.

Race 13

(5) KRISTINS VICTORY is ready to win but bad posts have done her in lately. If she is going to win at the Meadowlands, this is her week. (7) BEAU JOE has early speed in his arsenal and could be dangerous if left alone. (1) MERRY MAIDEN was Campbell’s choice over Beau Joe.
