Race 1

(2) HERCULOTTE HANOVER was driven ultra-patiently in her 3-year-old debut. We didn't see her best last time but I'm betting this Hambletonian Oaks eligible shows a lot more tonight. (4) ZOLI was facing tougher in the Summer Survivor series and has yet to be let loose; maybe tonight? (6) BALLET SLIPPERS chased a talented colt in that last qualifier. That effort should have her tight.

Race 2

(7) FATHER PATRICK has impeccable breeding and immense talent. He seems like one of the best young trotters in training right now. (4) NUNCIO showed some nice things in his qualifiers and adds a catch-driver tonight. (9) AVENTURE comes off a good qualifying race but seems way behind the top two.

Race 3

(6) ITSOVALIGHTSOUT makes his first start for trainer Nick Surick, who won three races here on Saturday. In this awful field, that seems like a great angle. (7) CULLENS BLUE JEAN hasn't raced in four weeks. If he is right, watch out. (5) ALBION displayed some life in his latest. (4) IN KENNYS HONOR has some speed; adds Pierce.

Race 4

(2) VINTAGE OAKS has posted mostly steady miles between breaks lately, but switches to Gingras this week. I can see him waking this gal up. (3) DETOUR HANOVER has tons of speed and ability. However, this guy is erratic and regular driver David Miller is out of town. (7) DEALIEST CATCH certainly looks fast enough to compete. Is he ready off the bench?

Race 5

(7) ALWAYS BE MIKI has displayed the ability to pace a big quarter. If Callahan sets him up right, he could be very tough. (2) BAKERSFIELD dropped some nice time in his last baby race. Takter trainee appears to have some ability. (8) STAY UP LATE qualified well and hails from a top barn.

Race 6

(9) SUMMER INDIAN comes off a monster mile at Pocono. If he trots, he wins. (6) ANDOVER AMERICA has been a model of consistency. (8) FROM ABOVE comes charging home each week and only needs a smoother trip to score. (5) ANOTHER AMARETTO should be near the front; chance.

Race 7

(8) EIGHTHUNRDOLARBILL picked up her game last week and seems to be moving in the right direction now; again. (7) ODDS ON AVENTURE was a good second when last at this level. (10) TWIN B ELITE has high speed and Gingras/Burke in her corner. (6) CAROLSIDEAL looks enticing but faces tougher.

Race 8

(1) LUCKYCHARM HANOVER seemed like a bad bet as the favorite last week, but now has a couple of starts under his belt. I'm expecting a very strong effort. (3) THISTLE DHU lured Tetrick off a couple of other options. She is facing elders but seems like a fit. (7) SWAN IN A MILLION is going to step up with a big effort one of these days.

Race 9

(6) AVENUE HANOVER just missed in a nice effort last time. I expect him to make amends tonight. (4) ESPIRIT DE KAYJAY A should give her usual decent effort. (3) C MAJOR HANOVER has good early speed.

Race 10

(5) CHINESE CUISINE ships in from Hoosier for a good barn and finds a soft spot. (7) PILATUS drops to the basement condition and is a must use. (3) KENDA is another dropping down. I'll use her at least underneath.

Race 11

(4) MAVEN is perfect this year and the Queen of the division until she loses. That said, she is far from a lock. (5) CEDAR DOVE has yet to make any noise in this series and needs to get going. Perhaps she will show some early speed tonight. (1) DORSAY has the pylon position and sub 27-second speed; dangerous. (3) REAL BABE rallied nicely last time. She still needs to prove herself at this level.

Race 12

(6) AINT GOT A HOME seems to be getting a ton of class relief and hopefully the addition of Lasix will help her at the end of the mile. (2) HOW BOUT A SMOOCH brushed and just missed last time; must use. (7) WATTAQUEEN ships in very sharp. (4) JARNAC finally gets a good post.

Race 13

(1) PALMS BEACH faces a bad group and is overdue for a win. (2) BIG PUFF DOGGIE closed well for second last time. (3) KISS MY ART is capable but has missed four weeks.
