MEET STATS: 44 - 211 / $268.80       BEST BETS: 8 - 18 / $33.60

Best Bet: CAMERON CHIP (1st)       Spot Play: IDEAL IN VEGAS (9th)

Race 1

(4) CAMERON CHIP has been sitting on a big effort for weeks now but can't seem to find the right spot. Veteran mare drops a class this week and we might even see a rare show of speed against this group. (2) BLOOMFIELDCANTFLY faced some traffic from an outside post last time and is also getting class relief; Gingras drives, too. (7) GAELIC AND GARLIC has been in against tougher; chance.

Race 2

(3) SOUTHWIND JAZMIN was a winner when last seen at this level. I'm guessing that the aggressor will win in this short field and after some off-the-pace efforts at Dover, I can see Tetrick having her forwardly placed. (1) MYSTICAL VICTRESS is a quality mare who has been burning up money every week. (5) CHIEF KAREN exits the Opens at Yonkers and seems to be a fit if the trip works out.

Race 3

(2) JK FINE ART saved all the ground and came up the cones with some late energy last time. With two starts under her belt, I'm guessing we see a bit more from this mare. (3) SANGAAL had no chance of closing into slow fractions last time. (7) CLEAR VIEW HANOVER takes a significant drop in class.

Race 4

(8) FOOLS REVENUE came back from a long layoff and swept the field from last. Gelding has plenty of back class and can come right back against this slightly better bunch. (2) WHEELS stays at a similar level but took on better last time. (1) FOUNTAINBLEAU VOLO was used up early in his most recent try. I'm losing patience with this guy but could still see him stepping up. Maybe Tetrick makes a difference. (5) WESTSIDE LINDY drops out of the Horse & Groom and into a better spot.

Race 5

(2) JK LETITGO took a nice tour of the track from post 10 in her 2013 debut and only second career start. Western Ideal-sired filly draws inside now and only needs to take a small step forward to get involved. (5) CHEYENNE MIRIAM raced well for her second consecutive win last time. (1) CRAZY EIGHTS is a clear player, but she hasn't been able to get over the hump.

Race 6

(8) QUICK DEAL gained plenty of ground after the early miscue last time. Burke trainee needs a big effort to make next week's final. If he doesn't break, my bet says he'll win. (2) MODERN FAMILY kept it rolling with another big effort last time; one to beat. (1) DWS NY YANK is another on a winning streak. Gingras had a choice of the two Burke trainees and went with #8.

Race 7

(7) LETS GO HIGHER had no chance last time from post seven at Yonkers. Don't be shocked if this guy steps up. (9) STAR KEEPER probably won't have to go as fast in the first quarter to make the front this week. (1) DE VINS GIRL steps up off a win but still has a chance in here.

Race 8

(2) UPFRONT BILLY came up big as expected in his 2013 debut. This is clearly a giant step up in class but there seems to be enough early speed signed on to set him up for a trip. (9) ICE MACHINE put in his best mile to date last week. If he gets rolling, watch out. (7) OPENING NIGHT continued to move forward in his second start off the bench; dangerous.

Race 9

(3) IDEAL IN VEGAS was a decent 3-year-old who returns from winter vacation with fresh Lasix. Her qualifier wasn't bad and this field came up light on talent for the most part. (7) DAY BLUE CHIP is clearly the one to beat and a must on every ticket. I'm just not sure I want her at odds-on. (1) CINDEROSA beat my top choice in her qualifier.

Race 10

(5) LEXIS AMIGO posted a big mile in his first start with hobbles added. This guy always had speed. Perhaps the equipment change was all he needed to pick up his game again. (7) MY LEAP OF FAITH set a lifetime mark the last time Tetrick was in the bike. (9) TOP BILLING put up a nice mile to open his 4-year-old season. If he drew inside he would be my top pick. From post nine, I would expect another easy mile.

Race 11

(3) MISS SAND CREEK took a bunch of air and still finished second last time. If she goes a similar mile tonight, she wins. (2) HARPER LEE arrives from Illinois with enough ability to play in here. (5) NUTMEGS YANKEE figures to get an easy lead.
