Race 1

(5) LEAVE YOUR MARK raced better than I thought versus more accomplished foes last week. Barring a miscue, he should dominate. (4) MAJESTIC HIT sat behind a gapper in that qualifier and finished up willing behind the top choice. (10) JAILHOUSE JUICE has some GO when he behaves; closes for share. (3) CASSAS IMAGE raced okay in her career debut and could show more now.

Race 2

(7) SCORPION MOON has displayed some faint signs of life lately. In this wide open event I'll roll the dice on this possible price horse. (9) ROMPAWAY ALVIN has been racing well up at Saratoga and should handle the big track just fine. (1) CELTIC MERCHANT has been keeping somewhat better company. (3) LIVID LUKE has form on his side.

Race 3

(4) KISSMATT looks pretty bad on paper with a quick glance, but notice that she finally showed a good last quarter in her most recent race. That is the kind of small improvement that can often lead to better results at a nice price. Notice she won a couple of races here last year. (7) KIMMY has dangerous early speed and should be using it. (2) CHEYENNE PATTI finds a good spot; using.

Race 4

(7) O DANA O hasn't really let loose in her first two starts since 2010. She needs a top three finish in order to compete for more than twice the money next week. I expect Steve Smith will send her off the gate. (8) PAISLEY is another that should be leaving. His recent effort was much improved. (4) MR FENWICK was a winner when last dropped to this level.

Race 5

(5) TOP BILLING was used more aggressively last time, his third start of 2013. That effort should have him primed to post a big mile. (4) BASTILLE faced much tougher in his last two tries here. (1) ALL MUNKY BUSINESS took off three months and was thrown to the wolves last week. This spot should be more to her liking.

Race 6

(6) CLEAR VIEW HANOVER doesn't come off inspiring efforts but does get a bunch of class relief. (7) GORDYS FILLY YENTA is always a threat to win at this level. (2) LOVE YOU ALWAYS sprinted home in her first start for this barn.

Race 7

(3) IN FOCUS has looked good in the morning and is clearly as fast as any signed on here. Assuming you get the expected price of 3-1 or higher, I would take a shot. (4) MELADYS MONET comes off a sharp victory. (5) TEMPLE OF DOOM qualified back nicely but I can see him getting a relaxing mile in just his first start in a year.

Race 8

(1) FOUNTAINBLEAU VOLO looked like the horse he was at the beginning of last year in his last start. Perhaps he has finally turned the corner. (2) CHOCOHOLIC posted another good effort last time. (9) DASH FOR THE CASH gets some needed class relief but the inside foes might be too sharp.

Race 9

(6) SLEAZY DOES IT will never find an easier spot at the Meadowlands than this one. She really should beat this group. (2) HERE AGAIN has been improving in her recent starts. (3) SOLID QUEEN has only missed the board once this year.

Race 10

(5) BUZZ BOMB was gearing up for a possible win when he blew up on the final turn. I'll take another shot with the driver switch to Miller. (9) BLOMKVIST held well despite taking a lot of air last time. (1) SPECIAL COMMAND should fit nicely with this group.

Race 11

(1) HARBOR POINT looked like he was ready to step up and handle better when he won by three lengths last week. I'll take a shot with this improving 4-year-old. (7) SEVRUGA is clearly the one to beat but far from a lock. (4) ICE MACHINE went a huge mile last time and can never be tossed.

Race 12

(6) CELEBRITY LOVIN spent a long time on the rim last week and was stuck in post 10 in her prior start. Making her third start of the year against this dull-looking bunch, I have to think this will be her time to shine. (4) MYSTICAL CON earns his keep at this level. (1) SCHALOM G lured Callahan off my top pick.

Race 13

(3) RINGSIDE LAURYN drops down and finally draws well; lots to like. (8) AX MAN has the ability if Goodell can get him past the start without breaking. (1) DIPIETRANTONIO took a shot last week and tired after the tough trip.
