Race 1

(8) ARIA J was a top two-year-old filly in New York two years back and then appeared to have suffered through a sophomore jinx season. Art Major-sired lass returned with a vengeance last week and would seem to have the C-2 class at her mercy. (4) SPOTLIGHT ON returns from the small track at Yonkers at a reduced level. (1) LEXUS ARTIST paid for a little too much aggression last week and may do better with a ground saving journey.

Race 2

(4) MODERN FAMILY was a star here last winter and appears to have gotten his act together racing at Dover. Five-year-old has tremendous potential and may show it off tonight. (6) DAYLON MAGICIAN got the better of a short field with a very slow pace last time. Classy veteran is always dangerous. (7) DWS NY YANK tries the big track and that may not be his strong suit.

Race 3

(10) DOUKNOWWHEREURGOIN moves to the big track after breaking in her first trip for Fraley. Lightly-raced four-year-old is in live hands and faces a fairly blank field. (9) DOO WEE RUSTY vacated the pocket for Gingras but still had no excuse not getting the job done in last. (5) CUT A DEAL hasn't been able to hack it racing on the front end and may look for a helmet to follow this week.

Race 4

(9) WHATA DONATO showed some impressive consistency last year in Ontario finishing first or second 13 times. Donato Hanover-sired mare has a solid pedigree and should benefit from the Gingras-Burke combination. (10) EPIC TALE may be stepping into a little tougher company, but this horse went an exceptional trip last week and could offer extreme value in exactas and tri's. (3) DOUGH DOUGH is obviously a very talented horse when on stride.

Race 5

(6) CHARLOTTES MAGGIE returns to the big track following some lackluster efforts at Yonkers. Six-year-old has done well here in the past and faces nothing that imposing in this group. (2) NUTMEGS CIDER benefited from a perfect journey and a suspect bunch last time. (4) HURRIKANE SCHMUMMA tries claimers for the first time.

Race 6

(3) SPICE IT UP LINDY probably had his hand forced last week after landing the rail. Veteran may appreciate a cover trip and strike late. (8) RAVEN VICTORY picks up Tetrick in his second start back for Toscano and certainly seems the one to beat. (5) AEQUITAS is likely to pick up at this level on the big track.

Race 7

(8) HOBE SOUND is worth a follow up. Four-year-old didn't fire as expected coming off cover in her local debut but may be more aggressively steered tonight. (10) JUSTASTATEQUILATALKIN qualified back strongly for Burke. Five-year-old lands outside but remains a stout threat at this level. (1) LIGHTNING PAIGE had no chance in last; moves inside and could be forwardly placed.

Race 8

(5) SMOOTHER RIDE had a very bumpy ride in his debut for McDermott at Yonkers last week. Four-year-old showed trot finishing in his last local start and may have found a prime spot to get the job done here. (4) BROOKROAD KNIGHT has looked very sharp on the track but been the victim of some horrible racing luck as of late. Five-year-old moves inside and is another with price potential to hit the board. (6) RIVERFEST can be relied on to finish up the mile with solid trot.

Race 9

(7) TWIN B ELITE went a huge trip devouring a weaker group last time. Ontario-bred steps up but shouldn't find this group to be that difficult and may pay dividends. (6) DRAGON RUFFLES was very solid in her first-over grind last time and appears on edge for trainer Nik Drennan. (8) OLE MISS is piling up the excuses lately but is always a threat at this level.

Race 10

(5) CHECKNYOUOUT suffered a hopeless shuffle last time and bounced back late with solid trot. Six-year-old finds a decent spot and figures to be flying late. (8) PILATUS was rock solid in his return to the big track and remains in top hands. (12) CELEBRITY LOVIN drops a notch.

Race 11

(7) MATTIE TERROR GIRL has been a big story this winter for Alagna. Four-year-old has matured and essentially has beaten up on better company than she'll face tonight. (5) BEST BOSS showed a new wrinkle moving to the front last time only to be tracked down by a Burke-trained monster. (8) SIMPLE SAVER N has had two chances on these shores and has not gotten the job done. Import's record Down Under suggests quality but she'll have to prove it first.

Race 12

(7) TWIN B SPIKE MAN is no longer a secret after capturing two of his last three outings. Perhaps his best mile was last week after getting stopped on the final turn he rallied furiously in the stretch. (4) CORAGGIOSO was let off at a generous 6-1 in his second start back off the shelf. Five-year-old is likely to be overbet some on the step up in class. (3) FIRSTCLASSPRINCESS hails from a very solid trotting stable and figures to improve with each start.

Race 13

(3) TERROR RISING raced reasonably well in her first trip with Lasix. Veteran mare lands a decent spot and returns to Andy Miller in the bike. (1) DELICIOUSLYNAUGHTY doesn't win very often but did place nine times in 2013. (7) DAY TO PONDER gets a major driver change.
