Best Bet: STAGE IT RIGHT (9th)

Spot Play: IF I DIDN’T CARE (4th)

Race 1

 (5) CLEMENTINE DREAM was stuck in an outside post in her first start since the beginning of October and raced okay. Now she has that start under her belt and a mid-pack post to work with. (6) SECRET INGREDIENT comes off a couple of decent qualifiers for a good barn. (7) YOU ROCK MY WORLD moves into the Ron Burke barn; improvement very possible.

Race 2

 (5) J HIGH didn’t seem to fire at Yonkers but raced well on the five-eighths at Pocono. Perhaps she likes the bigger tracks. (7) UBETTORBETURLIFE hails from a barn that has started the meet on fire. (10) WEDNESDAYS WHIM raced pretty well in her debut for Burke; early speed.

Race 3

 (1) PAULAS BRADY is as fast as any in here and could potentially get overlooked in the wagering. More than half the field could win this race. (5) ITZAZIAM should certainly be involved but hung in both his starts here. (10) FOUR STARZ SPEED has been fairly consistent at this level. (3) SPECTATOR K has tons of early speed and could hide from the field if he is feeling good on Friday night. (9) RUSH N SUPREME drops down the class ladder.

Race 4

 (8) IF I DIDN’T CARE has been stuck in outside posts at Yonkers and still closing nicely. Notice that 1:53 2/5 winning mile here early in the year. (5) PARDON moves into the Linda Toscano barn and has plenty of back class to call upon. (10) SARANDON BLUE CHIP looks good if you toss the line where he broke last week.

Race 5

 (3) COCOTIER couldn’t overcome a tough trip in his first start for Burke. I’m looking for more now; another shot. (7) RAY HALL moves in a few slots and should be a major player. (2) HAULN FANNY made a decent move with trainer Nick Surick in the bike at Freehold. Trotter picks up a catch-driver this time around. (10) RONAN scored at first asking following the barn change.

Race 6

 (5) EIGHTHUNRDOLARBILL took her lifetime mark at the Meadowlands this year. Perhaps the switch to the big track will perk her up. (3) BULLET POINT is in fine form right now and seems capable of handling the class hike. (4) KEEPERS DESTINY has speed and form as the uncoupled stablemate of my top pick; Miller’s choice.

Race 7

 (10) ICE MACHINE has tons of early speed and he certainly knows how to win at the Meadowlands. Post 10 will present some issues, but I’ll take a shot with him at a potential price. (3) BANKER VOLO has been facing some tough foes lately and should enjoy the move from post 10 to 3. (7) COE LEADER scored off the bench last time and may actually be this good.

Race 8

 (3) BILLMAR SCOOTER posted a win in a similar class when last seen here. This mare is sharp and deserves the call. (7) BIG MCDEAL comes off a good try. (5) JINGLEJANGLEJINGLE closed well from the back in her latest starts.

Race 9

 (6) STAGE IT RIGHT added Lasix and blew away a field at Yonkers last week. If the medication made the difference, this field is well within her grasp. (5) JANIE BAY certainly looks like one of the ones to beat. (3) WILLOW GRAM qualified back well and seems like a fit with this group.

Race 10

 (3) POINTE OF HONOUR gets a bit of class and plenty of post relief. (4) WALLTOCOUSINS has some form and plenty of early speed. (7) TEMPLE OF DOOM makes his first start since July but is a fast trotter who could blow this field away is ready for a top effort.

Race 11

 (6) KEYSTONE WANDA was super three starts back, came uncovered two-back and was used early last time. This gal has some go to her and looks to be as good as any. (9) MANDYS MATTJESTY raced well from post 10 last time and now must overcome post 9. (4) TASHIA gets a better post to work with tonight. If kept closer to the action she could be a major player.

Race 12

 (5) FRISKY STRIKE hasn’t exactly had the best trips of late and now she moves into the Burke barn; great spot. (2) MC TINYS HOPE raced pretty well recently and seems to be facing an easier field now. (8) MY MAN CAN has early speed in a race that seems to lack that quality; dangerous. (9) REV IT NOW comes here in form and Scicluna looked good in the bike at Freehold.

Race 13

 (6) SAM SWIFTY drops out of tougher claiming races at Yonkers to take on the bottom conditioned foes here. This 6-year-old mare is capable. (1) DELIGHTFUL DIVA has tons of class, drops down and gets a better post. (4) LIZS LIL K K has the ability but hasn’t exactly looked great in her qualifiers. (10) CRUISE QUEEN should be involved for Burke/Gingras.
