Best Bet: ONEIDA (2nd)

Race 1

(10) BABY REMIND ME was used hard in her last two starts and understandably weakened. Now she is handicapped with post 10 but faces a shaky group. (3) ROCKNROLL OLIVIA returns from Florida in good form. (2) WORLD OF ROCK seemed to get her act together in that recent qualifier.

Race 2

(7) ONEIDA charged home to win going away in his debut for the Miller barn. The time wasn't overly impressive, but the performance was. (5) MAXIMUS DEO flashed early speed and was a solid second last time; main threat. (1) PUT ON THE DAY won his second time on the track. Let's see what he can do.

Race 3

(1) WALLTOCOUSINS gets the dynamic duo of post and class relief. He is supposed to bring a top effort in this spot. (5) SELENA is another sharp Saratoga shipper; Tetrick's pick. (4) CEDARRIDGETAG kept his act together in the qualifier; new driver. (2) LEXIS AMIGO also minded his manners in the morning; fast enough.

Race 4

(10) PRECIOUS ROSE N doesn't thrill me at lower odds from post 10, but she has early speed and faces a weak group. (3) DELICIOUSLYNAUGHTY could perk up on the big track; Tetrick drives. (5) TIGER BOUDOIR is not as bad as her last race looks.

Race 5

(2) TAMASIN HALL comes off a throw-out mile and her previous try saw her take air on the rim going 1 1/4 miles. This looks like the perfect spot and she should be close to the front. (7) JERSEY BOY dug in very nicely in his qualifier. He seems to be at his best at the end of the race and the extra eighth tonight should suit him. (1) VIBE BLUE CHIP has speed and an inside post for Burke. (6) NORTHERN MATADOR ships in with plenty of form. Is he fast enough?

Race 6

(4) HERE COMES NUMBERS didn't fire in his first start for trainer Burke while facing better foes. Let's give him another shot. (3) AUSPICIOUS HANOVER wired a softer group last time. He should be close to the action. (6) WAR CRY HALL only needs a reasonable trip to fly past in the lane.

Race 7

(3) ICOMMANDMYSPIRIT raced evenly following a two month layoff. Four-year-old picks up David Miller this week and should be tighter. (5) LEAVEUMLADY has early speed and form. (8) A LA NOTTE HANOVER had plenty of late life in her first start with Lasix; even more now? (9) CAROLSIDEAL won at this level two starts back.

Race 8

I'm not in love with any of these horses on top, so I'll try (5) CREAMPUFF MACDADDY moving into the Burke barn for the first time. (1) HARBOR POINT is certainly capable if he can finally get over the hump. (7) IL MAGO hasn't been as bad as his last two finish positions indicate.

Race 9

(2) MC TAYLOR raced well in her qualifier and looks ready to roll. (3) ROCKET ROSY has finished first or second in 45 of 86 career starts. Let's see how she handles the Meadowlands. (7) THE SUMMER WIND scored at the C-2 level last time; moves up.

Race 10

(3) KEYSTONE SADIE has turned the corner and seems to be in light this week. (8) TACTFUL WAY is in fine form and only needs a smooth trip from the outside post to score. (4) CHOCOLATE DELIGHT gets a better post to work with and Tetrick sticks here over some other decent choices.

Race 11

(5) EMPRESS DEO looked good upon arrival and now goes for her fifth straight win. (8) SOMENICEBEACH has probably been facing slightly better foes; using. (10) BLIXTRA raced very well last time but drew worst.

Race 12

(7) CANDY STASH really impressed me by gaining a ton of ground in the stretch in her recent qualifier. She looks like a youngster that likes to win. (8) TEACH ME TO BUCKY also qualified well and displayed early speed too. (1) BLOCKING THE WAY makes his first start for Julie Miller.

Race 13

(2) KEN DOLL J doesn't make me get excited about betting this race, but she was stuck in the second tier in her first start on Lasix and deserves another chance. (7) PANCAKES was better in her qualifier than it looks on paper. (10) KZ BEACH GIRL steps up off a win and has the early speed to make some noise.
