Race 1

(8) PEDROS DREAM has broken out of an 0-for-20 slump with three consecutive wins and returns to the Big M at a level he should be comfortable. (5) RING WARRIOR drops below the level of his last win two starts back and is in prime position. (3) RETURN TO SENDER N gets his third trainer in his last three starts but remains in the 10k level.

Race 2

(3) VICTORYDAZE WILWIN appears to have a solid 'early-wagering' following given his support last week. Trainer-driver Joe Martin only needs to get him to the front and avoid the long trip to get home against this class. (7) WILLIE BOOTS rebounded in a big way upon dropping to this level and should improve in his third start back. (4) WOODMERE ULTIMATE has done well on the big track in the past.

Race 3

(2) K LEES SHAKENBAKE arrives at a rather reduced level to the big track. Veteran has usually been a late stretch type but may have to be assertive from the inside to bottom this field out. (7) HERE COMES SWIFTY has had his share of excuses but may flex his muscles on the big track return. Well-bred gelding could be put in play early. (6) INTHEBLINKOFANEYE was vicious here earlier this year and must be respected.

Race 4

(3) BUDDY HALLY went a rather serious mile for Dylan Davis against weaker in a crushing second trip over the track. Given that effort it's hard to go against him even with the step up in class. (4) RUBBER DUCK makes his local debut for Rich Johnson sporting interesting form at Woodbine and could be any kind. (8) DANISH DURANGO had little chance in his first start in four months and is expected to build off that effort.

Race 5

(5) WAR-N-MUNN was brilliant early this year racing in late closers in Ontario. Appeared to regain some of his old energy with a victory at Harrah's in last and now returns to the big track primed for this class. (3) BLATANTLY BEST may be looking to be near the top this time around after a pair of overland trips netted minor spoils. (8) STARLITE KID showed plenty of speed after making an early break last time and is a serious threat on a flat performance.

Race 6

(1) ELRAMA N displayed a wicked burst of speed getting sent wide on the final turn and exploding to win against weaker. This recent Mike Russo acquisition will be hard to stop in raging form. (4) DOCTOR BUTCH didn't look all that impressive in his last two starts at Yonkers but remains a seasoned veteran with $1.2 million in the bank. (6) QUALITY CLOSER has been hitting in hard luck lately and may look to the top here.

Race 7

(9) MR HASANI has won three of his last four starts and still remains at a level where he should be quite comfortable. With an abundance of early speed he should be sitting on or near the front. (4) ASHLEYS HUSBAND hasn't gotten any help reaching contending position in recent weeks and may have to gut it out here without cover. (7) BULLET BOB has speed and remains in rare form.

Race 8

(8) MILLENIUM WHEEL has been quite compromised racing on the outside at Dover in claiming handicaps. Veteran has turned things around this year at least in the win department and may love the change in scenery. (3) GHOST PINE is a closer that has to benefit from the inside draw. (1) ELWELL steps up a notch but gets no favors with the inside draw combined with his lack of early speed.

Race 9

(4) TINK AND TIGER showed a decent burst finishing after limited involvement in last. Veteran finds a better spot in a suspect group. (1) STRATOCASTER was right there with our choice on the wire last week, albeit after a much easier journey. Nevertheless this 5-year-old has had good success over this track. (3) CLASSIC AMERICAN N made a ton of money Down Under and is certainly overdue for a wake up call.

Race 10

(3) SPEED AGAIN has not resembled the horse that made nearly seven figures racing in the Northeast as of late. Burke-trained gelding drops sufficiently for a return to the winner's circle. (5) RESTLESS arrives in raging form from Harrah's and appears to have the necessary early foot to be a player. (6) BIG JER somehow managed a perfect second-over trip from the rail last time; may have to make his own luck here.

Race 11

(9) REAL NICE is obviously one tough customer with 56 wins in 207 lifetime starts. That said, the 11-year-old was a little flat finishing in his local return but may be more assertive with the drop here. (4) FOOL ME ONCE really shut down the action nicely during the middle half and then needed a few wake up calls to defeat cheaper. He's not the kind we want to chase at low odds. (1) RANCOUSY gets much needed post relief.

Race 12

(10) THE FIRE WITHIN adds Lasix for the first time after a troubled trip at Harrah's. While the post could be an issue, we expect this 4-year-old to leave for position. (1) CITY PIE finished with belated speed in a field that fell apart nearing the wire. The inside draw could make him the favorite again. (5) VERSADO has a ton of back class but has clearly struggled this year.

Race 13

(7) HALL OF TERROR gets a very weak vote of confidence in a difficult nightcap to assess. This 4-year-old has been finishing well but may not find the flow. (6) GREAT SOUL remains at a winning level after a solid closing score. (4) STIMULUS PLAN is now back to the level of his claim after choking at 1-5.
