Race 1

(2) GLITTER IN THE AIR was on my bet-back list after her November qualifier at The Meadowlands and promptly scored from last at Harrah’s Philly, which is no easy feat. The competition is much tougher this week but I expect to get a fair price. (5) TIME TO QUIT has form, moves into the Ron Burke barn and adds Gingras; clear favorite. (10) CLEMENTINE DREAM has proven to be faster than these, but has missed over two months of action and must start from post 10; mixed feelings. (6) ZOLI had every chance last week; using underneath.

Race 2

(2) HEIDI FALLS is winless in 11 starts on the year and hardly makes you want to wager, but this field came up very light and I’m just not excited about many of the options in here. (5) LATTE HALL wasn’t awful last time and does make her second start after a month off. (6) NEW YORK MUSCLE qualified back well. (8) UPFRONT CAROL could turn some people off coming in from Monticello, but she is feeling good now.

Race 3

(9) SUMMER HOPE ships down from Maine in good enough form to contend. She has some class to her and Gingras seems likely to fire her off the wings. (3) DREAMS ART posted a 1:51 3/5 win here earlier in the year and Miller elected to drive her over two others. (8) QUEEN OF ROYALTY returns to the Meadowlands at a reduced level; using.

Race 4

(4) MC TINYS HOPE has won more than one-third of her starts this year and did race well in the Flower Child series here in June. (9) RIVERFEST has hung during the late stages on consecutive weeks; hard to love as a top pick. (2) FOUNTAINBLEAU VOLO stayed flat without incident in his first start since August. Trainer returns to the bike this week and that should mean a better price. (5) MAGGLIO is a clear player with any decent trip.

Race 5

(5) PRECIOUS ROSE N didn’t fire last time in the slop. New driver Scott Zeron takes the lines this week and she could benefit from the new set of hands at the controls. (7) MISS COCO LUCK rallied nicely from behind last time and might be the one to beat this week. (8) MYSTICAL DIVA never saw the pylons and raced very well for second last week.

Race 6

(10) MANDYS MATTJESTY has displayed plenty of early speed for trainer Ron Burke and should have no trouble making the front from post 10. (4) KZ BEACH GIRL raced well last time but driver Tim Tetrick elected to stay loyal to the Fraley barn and #7. With Pat Berry in the bike her price should be reasonable. (9) CHEYENNE MIRIAM drops out of the Open Handicap at Yonkers and deserves some respect. (7) TASHIA switches to the Fraley barn and seems to have some ability.

Race 7

(2) SWEET JUSTICE has been super since joining the Bruce Saunders barn and should keep rolling despite facing older foes this week. (6) IL MAGO faces an easier group this time around and is very dangerous. (10) POINTE OF HONOUR has enough early speed to overcome the bad post and sports a 1:53 2/5 win here this year.

Race 8

(1) SHOOTOUTTHELIGHTS has come up a bit short in her last couple at Yonkers, but she gets a favorable inside draw and might just perk up on the new surface. (6) ALL ABOUT KISSES is another one coming in from Yonkers and this one has been racing very well. Presence of the lesser known Brian Connor in the bike should assure a good price. (3) THE SUMMER WIND gets some post relief and is hard to toss. (4) BULLET POINT rallied nicely last week and looks like a player in here.

Race 9

(5) MMS LUCKY BOY was a bit better in his third start of the year. He arrives at the Meadowlands in a good spot and should be primed for a top effort. (7) BROOKROAD KNIGHT couldn’t stay with some tough foes most recently. He drops a notch now and can get a big piece. (6) ALL ABOUT JUSTICE is winless on the year, but fits with this bunch and has early speed. If the winds are strong, he might be a live play. (9) HERE COMES NUMBERS could race better with hobbles added.

Race 10

(6) MISS SAND CREEK wasn’t going very far from post nine last time. She gets a slight class drop tonight and a better post to work with. (2) DON’T BLAME HER doesn’t look great on paper but is well drawn and could flash speed in this spot. (5) MOJARRA HANOVER drops down a bit and gets a new pilot. (9) JANIE BAY steps up after a convincing score.

Race 11

(6) SALOME MARVEL has good early zip and a strong record this year. (1) GRECALE AS comes into this with some form and should sit close from the inside post. (8) CEDARRIDGETAG drops in for a claiming tag and looks like a fit with this group.

Race 12

(6) CAMERON CHIP raced evenly in her first start since July and was actually caught in a pretty quick mile that night. This looks like a great spot for her to win. (2) CHOCOHOLIC gets a pass for his flop in the slop; another shot. (3) ITZAZIAM comes off a nice race and has one-mile track experience.

Race 13

(5) SUNSHINE PATRIOT caved on the lead in the slop but the track was a bit tiring at that point. I’ll take a shot here at a price. (1) ARIANE HANOVER has speed and pylon position. (3) LEXUS ARTIST comes in from Monticello off a win and does own a 1:54 1/5 winning mark here this year.
