Melanie's Fran, Shoshie Deo, Hypnotic Tale, and Samis Rolin Stone were all repeat winners in New Jersey Sire Stakes events for 3-year-olds that were held on Friday evening at the Meadowlands. Melanie's Fran (David Miller) and Hypnotico (Austin Siegelman) faced off in a match race in the $15,000 colt pace, and Melanie's Fran would win by 25 lengths in 1:56 after putting up fractions of 28 4/5, 57, and 1:26 1/5. Melanie's Fran, a gelding by Hypnotic Blue Chip, is trained by Kevin McDermott for owner 80 Slot Right Stable.  Melanie's Fran is now a six-time winner in his life, and he has pocketed $140,000. In the colt trot, Shoshie Deo (George Brennan) was pocketed behind U Need Stones (Yannick Gingras) through panels of 28, 56 1/5, and 1:25 1/5, then out-kicked him in the lane to win by half a length in 1:53 4/5.  Brutal Storm (Trond Smedshammer) and Paging Doctor Teo (Sergio Corona) rounded out the order. A Wishing Stone colt, Shoshie Deo is trained by Dewayne Minor for owner Annemette Minor.  Shoshie Deo has a record of 6-5-0 from 14 starts, and he has put away $108,830.  Shoshie Deo was the 3-2 second choice and paid $5.60 to win. The filly pace saw round one winner Hypnotic Tale (D. Miller) on the engine through a 27 4/5 opening quarter, a 57 3/5 half, and 1:27 4/5 three-quarters, and she would sprint home in 26 2/5 to defeat Cruzinforavictory (Frank Milby) by a length and a half in a 1:54 1/5 mile.  Hurrikane Empress (Gingras) was the third-place finisher. Hypnotic Tale is a daughter of Hypnotic Blue Chip who is trained by Linda Toscano for owner/breeder Ronald Mario.  This was Hypnotic Tale's fourth career victory, and she has now earned $65,118.  She was the 1-5 favorite and returned $2.60 to win. Samis Rolin Stone gave trainer Dewayne Minor another winner on the card as she took the filly trot in 1:55.  With Minor also driving, she moved from second to first past the 28 second opening quarter, and after a 56 3/5 half and a 1:25 4/5 three-quarters, a 29 1/5 final kicker got her to the wire 2 1/4 lengths to the good over Take A Wish (Steve Smith).  Diamondstone US (Andrew McCarthy) crossed the line third, but was placed behind Ocarina Hanover (Mike Simons) for causing interference. The victorious Wishing Stone filly is owned by breeder Daniel Lengacher.  She has a pair of triumphs from 12 career starts, and she pushed her bankroll to $38,383.  Samis Rolin Stone was sent off at 1-2 and paid $3.00 to win.
