Trainer Kiaran McLaughlin is hopeful his star filly Mamdooha will recover from surgery in time to resume racing in late summer or early fall.

Mamdooha, a winner of 4 of 5 starts, including the Ruthless and Cicada stakes at Aqueduct this winter, will be out indefinitely after being diagnosed with a chip in an ankle, trainer Kiaran McLaughlin said.
