Make Music for Me, World Renowned to stand in California for 2014


Stakes winner Make Music for Me and winner World Renowned, both retired this year, will stand their first seasons at Brazeau Thoroughbred Farms in Hemet, Calif. Stud fees for both horses will be announced at a later date.

Make Music for Me, a 6-year-old Bernstein horse, won four of 30 career starts and earned $564,650 over five seasons. He won the Pasadena Stakes at Santa Anita placed in six other stakes, including a second in the Grade 1 Del Mar Futurity and third in the Grade 1 CashCall Futurity. He also finished fourth in the 2010 Kentucky Derby. Make Music for Me is out of stakes winner Miss Cheers, by Carson City, and is a half-brother to stakes winner I Dazzle and to stakes-placed winner Masculino.

World Renowned won two of 18 starts in Southern California and earned $60,750. A 5-year-old son of A.P. Indy, he is out of the multiple Grade 1-winning Unbridled’s Song mare Splendid Blendid, who has produced five other winners.

The two new stallions will join sires Stormy Jack, Strike For Glory, Fullbridled, and Best Minister on Brazeau’s roster for 2014.
