Saturday is a massive day of racing across the country with the Wood Memorial, Blue Grass Stakes, and Santa Anita Derby among the highlights of stakes-studded cards at Aqueduct, Keeneland, and Santa Anita. Fittingly enough, there are three featured contests at DRF Tournaments to accompany this stellar day of racing.First up is the latest qualifier for the World Horseplayers’ Tour/Santa Anita Preakness contest, which will take place May 19-20. For Saturday’s qualifier, players put up $458 and one in 12 will win their $5,000 entries.Qualification for the WHT/SA event is available exclusively at DRFT. All the prize money is added. Players wishing to compete simply need to put up $5,000 for their live bankrolls, no entry fee will be deducted. The top eight players from Saturday will go on to compete at a final table which will be filmed for a television pilot. There will also be a consolation contest on Sunday for those who don’t make the final table. Saturday’s Grade 1 qualifier for the WCH costs $580 and one in 10 entries will earn their $5,000 buy-ins for the finals.This weekend will also feature some of the final opportunities for players to win into Keeneland’s ever-popular Grade 1 Gamble, a live-bank event which attracted 170 entries in 2017. This year’s Grade 1 Gamble takes place next weekend on Sunday, April 15. Saturday’s DRFT qualifier costs $410 and will send one in 10 entries to Keeneland.Players looking to start their journeys to the Belmont Stakes Challenge should look at Saturday’s $95 game.
