Magna Graduate relocating to Oklahoma

Grade 2 winner Magna Graduate will relocate to Rockin’ Z Ranch in Beggs, Okla., for the 2016 breeding season and will stand for $2,500.

The 13-year-old son of Honor Grades stood the 2015 season at Woodford Thoroughbreds in Florida for $3,000 after previously residing at Darby Dan Farm in Kentucky.

Magna Graduate has sired four crops of racing age, with 82 winners and combined progeny earnings exceeding $5.3 million. His runners are led by Grade 3 winners Jessica’s Star and Blueeyesintherein, Grade 1-placed Magna Light, and stakes winners Bellarmine, Little Face, Magna Breeze, Silver Magna, Academy Bay, Pyrite Blue Magna, and Tuba.

Bred in Kentucky by Nicole Zitani and Ramon Rangel, Magna Graduate is out of the unraced Fast Play mare Peacock Alley, who is the dam of three winners from six foals to race, including the stakes winner Gralley. His extended family includes Group 3 winners Savannah’s Honor and Nick’s Nikita.

Magna Graduate won 10 of 35 starts during his ontrack career for earnings of $2,582,816. His résumé is highlighted by a win in the Grade 2 Clark Handicap and Grade 3 victories in the Discovery Handicap, Pegasus Stakes, Excelsior Breeders’ Cup Handicap, Razorback Handicap, Ack Ack Stakes, and Queens County Handicap. He also placed in the Grade 1 Stephen Foster Handicap and the Group 1 Dubai World Cup.
