Lucky Lo Lo goes for two

Lucky Lo Lo won her maiden in her last start, which makes her the most accomplished member of the 11-horse field that has been assembled for the $25,000 Colorado Thoroughbred Breeders Association Lassie at Arapahoe Park. The six-furlong race is restricted to 2-year-old fillies bred in Colorado.

Lucky Lo Lo was a wire-to-wire winner of a maiden special weight against open company in her last start June 28. The score makes her the lone winner in the Lassie. Travis Wales has the mount for trainer George Wafer.

Other horses of interest include Super Sassy, who was third against males in a maiden special weight for statebreds in her debut June 13. The race has since become a key one, with the winner, Toccing Man, coming back to take an allowance in his next start and the seventh-place finisher, Lucky Lo Lo, taking a maiden race June 28. Super Sassy will add Lasix on Sunday.

Hidden Stash is making her debut. She is a sister to My Kitty, a stakes winner at 2 who has earned $177,665. Illusive Butterfly is a full sister to Illusive Crystals, a past winner of the CTBA Lassie.
