Lord of the Game holds on to win the $100,000 Hanshin Cup Handicap at Arlington Park on Saturday.

Lord of the Game got past a stubborn Nkosi Reigns, then held off a surging Gouldings Green to post a hard-earned victory Saturday in the $100,000 at Arlington Park.

Crafty Shaw, the 2-1 favorite and 2004 Hanshin winner, faded to fourth after setting most of the pace.Lord of the Game, by Saint Ballado, was bred in Kentucky by WinStar Farm. Claimed from his first career start on Dec. 31 for a mere $10,000, Lord of the Game is owned by 2 Blondes Inc.
