GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas - No Place Like It picked up his third win of the Lone Star Park meet when he ran down pacesetter Silent Picture to win the $200,000 Pin Oak Stud USA Stakes. The 1 1/16-mile turf race for 3-year-olds was one of seven stakes that made up the track's annual Lone Star Million Day. All together, the stakes were worth $1 million.

No Place Like It ($32) settled in midpack, while Silent Picture led the field through fractions of 24.15 seconds for the opening quarter, 48.93 for the half, and 1:13.58 for six furlongs. No Place Like It rallied through the stretch for a 1 1/4-length win over Silent Picture, covering the distance over firm turf in 1:44.40.

"We stayed on the fence the whole way and just had to go around one horse, Silent Picture," said Eddie Martin Jr., who rode No Place Like It for Tom Durant and trainer Jack Bruner.

No Place Like It, a son of Real Quiet, earned $120,000 for the win, his third from seven career starts. His other victories also came at Lone Star. No Place Like It won a maiden claiming race on turf on April 15, then came back to defeat entry-level allowance rivals over the local turf on May 7.

His earnings now stand at $149,685.
