Littleexpectations moving to stand in Texas

Littleexpectations, sire of Grade 2 winner King of the Roxy and this year’s stakes-placed runner Expecting Cash, will relocate from Louisiana to Texas for the 2012 breeding season. Littleexpectations will stand for $1,500 next year, according to Asmussen Horse Center in Laredo, Tex., where he will stand.

Marilyn and Keith Asmussen have purchased Littleexpectations, a 14-year-old Valid Appeal horse, from the group who stood him at Ro Parra’s Millennium Farms at Moon Lake in Elm Grove, La., this year. Littleexpectations stood at Moon Lake for $2,000 in 2011.

Harry T. Mangurian, Jr., bred Littleexpectations in Florida from his stakes-winning Iron Constitution mare Mepache. Littleexpectations is a full brother to perennial leading Texas sire Valid Expectations and to Grade 3 winner Little Sister and stakes-winner Miss Valid Pache, among other stakes and graded-stakes performers.
