Listenlindalisten picked up her first stakes victory in Wednesday's Passing Mood Stakes at Woodbine.

ETOBICOKE, Ontario – Listenlindalisten led all the way in Wednesday’s $125,000 Passing Mood Stakes at Woodbine, outrunning Fresh Princess and the troubled favorite Silent Sonet on the Tapeta.

At the behest of the jockeys, the seven-furlong sprint was taken off the soggy turf about a half-hour before the race. Eurico Da Silva put Listenlindalisten on the point, and she set slow fractions before Fresh Princess closed outside from last to join the fray.

Silent Sonet sought room behind the leaders throughout the stretch, but it never materialized, and Fresh Princess hung late as Listenlindalisten won by 1 1/4 lengths. Silent Sonet finished another neck back in third in the six-horse field of Ontario-sired 3-year-old fillies.

The final time was 1:23.50.

"It was a very easy pace for her,” said Da Silva. “I believe this filly will have no problem if there's a pace to run at, she will relax.  But, I saw the opportunity for her to be very relaxed on the front end with no fighting, and she was very comfortable. I think she benefitted from that.”

A daughter of Court Vision, Listenlindalisten ($19.20) earned $75,000 in her first stakes victory for Conrad Farms and trainer Mark Casse.
