ETOBICOKE, Ontario - Listenlindalisten appears to strut her best stuff under the bright lights of Woodbine. Two weeks ago, she notched her first stakes win in the seven-furlong Passing Mood, and she doubled up on the stretchout to 1 1/16 miles in Wednesday night’s $125,000 Eternal Search. Listenlindalisten went straight to the front under Patrick Husbands, and proceeded to set fractions of 24.79 seconds and 49.09. She maintained a daylight lead through the stretch, and got home on top by a 1 1/2 lengths in 1:44.88. Crumlin Queen barely held off a fast-closing Kadley to finish second. Hailey’s Prize, who stalked the pace under Jesse Campbell, faded to fourth in the six-horse field of Ontario-sired 3-year-old fillies. “The first four strides, I really let Jesse know I wanted the lead, so we took the lead, and she was just enjoying herself out there,” said Husbands, who also rode Listenlindalisten in her first two starts, but not in the seven-furlong Passing Mood. A daughter of Court Vision, Listenlindalisten returned $4.30 to win. She banked $75,000 for Conrad Farm and trainer Mark Casse.
