LINCOLN, Neb. - Friday's feature is the two-mile Budweiser Marathon Starter Handicap as this 34-day meet begins its final weekend.

The three-lap marathon drew highweight Aly Aly Oxen Free, trained by Stan McClain, who will face the Ray Pallas-trained duo of Old Man's Delite and Gold Mantel.

Sunday's closing-day feature is the Capitol City Futurity, which drew 15 nominations.

David Anderson long ago clinched the trainer title. He held a 33-9 advantage in wins over second-place Gene DeRoin with four days of racing remaining. Jerry Carkeek is in control of the rider standings, leading Armando Martinez 49-40 in wins.
