Lincoln: Frogman Henry heads cast

Frogman Henry is the likely favorite when a field of 10 older horses meet in the $17,500 State Fair Board Handicap at a mile and 70 yards at Lincoln.

Patty Jo Braden trains Frogman Henry, who worked his way through his conditions and then faced the top horses on the grounds this season. He came up three-quarters of a length short to Hez Comin Thru in the six-furlong President's Cup in his last start and appears poised for a top effort here. R. D. Williams has the ride at 119 pounds.

The 11-year-old High Dice is the defending champion and also won this race in 2001 and 2003. High Dice is usually tough at this distance and on this track. High Dice has posted a career mark of 7-3-5 from 19 starts at the distance and a 10-4-7 record from 24 starts at Lincoln.

Hez Comin Thru, trained by Dan Coughlin, will be making his first start at a distance of ground but is riding a three-race win streak this year, all at Lincoln. He carries top weight of 123 pounds and has regular rider Dennis Collins aboard.
