Libor Lady on three-race streak

Libor Lady blazed her way to three straight wins at Colonial Downs, Laurel, and Delaware Park.

Now she takes her act under the lights in Saturday's $60,000 P.G. Johnson Stakes for 3-year-old filly grass sprinters at the Meadowlands Racetrack.

The five-furlong Johnson, named for the late Hall of Fame trainer, attracted a competitive field of 13, and there is little doubt that Libor Lady is the one to catch.

She has gone 5 for 6 since trainer Michael Pino converted her to a turf-sprint specialist. Her form, and Beyer Speed Figures, strengthen with every grass race.

Libor Lady ran a career-best Beyer last time, posting a 94 while rolling to a pacesetting two-length victory in the Walking in Da Sun Stakes at Delaware Park.

Regular pilot Luis Garcia will be aboard the filly, who was claimed for what now looks like a bargain $40,000 at Gulfstream Park in January.

Lost Without You would also be riding a three-race winning streak, if not for a disqualification from a victory last time out in a New York-bred stakes at Belmont Park.

Like Libor Lady, Lost Without You has thrived in turf sprints, with a record of 3-2-0 in five starts for trainer Peter Pugh.

Channing Hill will ride.

Casanova Killer blew away the competition last time in a 10-length off-the-turf win in the slop at Philadelphia Park that produced a freakish 105 Beyer. None of her previous efforts on turf or dirt has approached that number.

Jose Lezcano will be aboard for trainer Steve Klesaris.
