Lets Just Say seeks 2 in row

The $60,000 Iowa Stallion Futurity at Prairie Meadows drew a full field of 12 but includes only three who have graduated from the maiden ranks. It appears as though Lets Just Say has the best chance in the six-furlong stallion stakes. After finishing third in his career debut, Lets Just Say won his next start under jockey Tim Doocy, who will once again have the call.

Trossini, one of six fillies in the field, also is coming off a win. The apparent abundance of early speed in this race may set things up for her to come from off the pace. Trainer Ray Tracy has named Alex Birzer to ride.

Of the nine maidens entered, Spooky Mi may have the best chance. Trained by Mike Natale, Spooky Mi showed enough promise that she made her debut in the Prairie Meadows Lassie. She followed that with a second-place finish in a maiden race following a wide trip.

Saturday's card also includes three Quarter Horse stakes, topped by the Grade 2 Central Championship Challenge.
