Laurel: Your Bluffing loved the mud

Your Bluffing, ridden patiently by Mario Pino, rallied from second-to-last over a muddy track to win the $85,000 for 4-year-olds and up by 1 1/2 lengths at Laurel Park.

Fifth of six for three-quarters of the one-mile race, Your Bluffing gathered speed on the clubhouse turn, rallied five wide straightening for home, and one by one splashed by the leaders. The time was 1:40.27, and he paid $7.

Aggadan, the 3-2 favorite and one of two starters trained by Richard Dutrow, closed moderately to finish second by a head over 17-1 shot Marina Minister.

Bailero, the other Dutrow runner and the second choice in the betting, played see-saw for the lead with Mach Speed for the first six furlongs, in fast-for-the-footing fractions of 23.66, 47.31, and 1:13.60, and both caved in in the stretch.

Your Bluffing, a 6-year-old gelding trained by Michael Trombetta for the RDM Racing Stable, has now won four straight. The win was his 13th in 32 career starts, and it raised his lifetime earnings to $355,045.
