Kid Rambo wins maiden in Arapahoe stakes


Kid Rambo won his maiden in the $23,450 Inaugural Stakes at Arapahoe Park in Aurora, Colo., on Sunday, when he dueled on the lead and went on to a 2 1/2-length win. Royal Orchard finished second in the first Thoroughbred stakes of the meet, while it was another three-quarters of a length back in third to Major Big Time.

Kid Rambo ($23.40) covered the six furlongs for 3-year-olds in 1:11.90. John Rochabrun was aboard for trainer Temple D. Rushton. Kid Rambo races for Ted Simendinger and Richard Bellis.
