Email

Kennedy, a winning son of A.P. Indy from the family of Bernardini, will relocate to River Oaks Farm in Sulphur, Okla., for the 2017 breeding season, where he will stand for a fee of $1,250.

The 8-year-old horse previously stood at Rockin’ Z Ranch in Beggs, Okla.

Kennedy has sired two crops of racing age, with seven winners from 14 starters and progeny earnings of $231,158. He is the sire of Baby K, who finished second in this year’s Oklahoma Classics Lassie Stakes at Remington Park.

Bred in Kentucky by Padua Stables, Kennedy is out of the unplaced Deputy Minister mare Lovely Regina, whose six foals to race are all winners, including multiple Grade 3 winner Thiskyhasnolimit.

His second dam is Broodmare of the Year Cara Rafaela, who produced champion and prominent commercial sire Bernardini, by A.P. Indy. Cara Rafaela is also the dam of Ile de France, a Grade 1-placed runner who produced multiple Grade 1 winner Love and Pride.
Kennedy won one of seven starts during his racing career and earned $30,589. He will stand as property of John James.
