Kempton Bloodstock to be relaunched

Steve Castagnola’s Kempton Bloodstock will be relaunched in association with the Berger family’s Woodstock Farm near Lexington, Ky.

Castagnola previously was Director of Bloodstock Services for Vinery Ltd. after his full-service bloodstock agency was acquired in 2011 and renamed Vinery Bloodstock. Prior to joining Vinery, Castagnola worked at Taylor Made Farm for 13 years as director of client development before founding Kempton Bloodstock in 2009.

"Steve brings a track record of success and his passion and enthusiasm for the industry have allowed him to develop a large and diverse client base,” said Ben Berger, general manager of Woodstock Farm. “Our current clients will benefit from Steve's expertise in the private and public sales market, and we will work together to continue to grow Woodstock Farm and Kempton Bloodstock."

Woodstock Farm is a commercial boarding facility that has brought up horses including champion Shared Account, Grade 1 winner Hystericalady, and multiple stakes winners Teuflesberg, Songster, and Shaniko.
