LEXINGTON, Ky. - By winning the Grade 1 Darley Alcibiades on Friday's opening-day card at Keneland, Stephanie’s Kitten earned an automatic berth into the BC Juvenile Fillies, but owner Ken Ramsey and trainer Wayne Catalano said they are more likely to keep the filly on a familiar surface and run her instead in the BC Juvenile Fillies Turf on the same Nov. 4 card.

In four career starts, Stephanie’s Kitten has run twice on turf and twice on Polytrack.

Likewise, Hoofit won’t be using the Win and You’re In berth he earned by winning the Phoenix on Friday to get into the BC Sprint, according to trainer Graham Motion, who said the New Zealand-bred gelding is a possibility instead for the $1 million BC Turf Sprint, but only if owner Jill Johnston is willing to pay the 20-percent supplementary fee of $200,000.
