Following are horses to watch in Book 1 of the Keeneland November breeding stock sale based on their pedigrees, produce records, race records, and past auction performance of notable family members.

Hip No. 41, Don’t Tell Sophia, b. m., 2008, Conga-ree—Lost Expectations, by Valid Expectations, consigned by Spring Trace Farm, agent.
A Grade 1 winner and runner-up of the 2014 Breeders’ Cup Distaff, who sells carrying her first foal, by Medaglia d’Oro.

Hip No. 79, Hard Not to Like, gr. or ro. m., 2009, Hard Spun—Like a Gem, by Tactical Cat, consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent.
The Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Turf is on the radar for this multiple Grade 1 winner, who sells as a racing or broodmare prospect. She brought $1.5 million at last year’s Keeneland November sale.

Hip No. 114, Lexie Lou, b. f., 2011, Sligo Bay—Oneexcessivenite, by In Excess, consigned by Bluewater Sales, agent.
Canada’s 2014 Horse of the Year sells as a racing or broodmare prospect. Her championship season included a win in the Queen’s Plate Stakes.

Hip No. 135, b. f., 2015, Medaglia d’Oro—Nereid, by Rock Hard Ten, consigned by Lane’s End, agent.
Grade 1 winner Nereid was the most expensive broodmare of the 2013 Keene-land January horses of all ages sale, going for $1.3 million. This is her second foal.

Hip No. 138, ch. f., 2015, Distorted Humor—Oatsee, by Unbridled, consigned by Darby Dan Farm, agent.
The 13th foal out of 2011 Broodmare of the Year Oatsee, whose produce includes Grade 1 winners Shackleford and Lady Joanne, Grade 2 winner Afleeting Lady, Grade 3 winner Baghdaria, Grade 2-placed stakes winner Stephanoatsee, and graded stakes producer Grant Portege. This is Oatsee’s first pre-racing-age foal offered at public auction since Shackleford in 2009.

Hip No. 176, Sealy Hill, dk. b. or br. m., 2004, Point Given—Boston Twist, by Boston Harbor, consigned by Three Chimneys Farm, agent for The Complete Dispersal of Regis Farm.
The 2007 Canadian Horse of the Year goes through the ring in foal to Medaglia d’Oro. She is the dam of Canadian champion Hillaby and multiple stakes winner Belle Hill, and sold for $590,000 at the 2013 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky winter mixed sale.

Hip No. 184, Shook Up, gr. or ro. f., 2012, Tapit—Sugar Shake, by Awesome Again, consigned by Three Chimneys Farm, agent for The Complete Dispersal of Regis Farms.
This year’s Kentucky Oaks runner-up, who sells as a racing or broodmare prospect. Her dam is a Grade 1 winner.

Hip No. 199, Spring in the Air, b. m., 2010, Spring At Last—Unbridled Run, by Unbridled, consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent.
Canadian champion 2-year-old filly sells carrying her first foal, by War Front. She is from the family of Group 1 winner Palace Episode; and Grade/Group 2 winners Laughing Lashes, Tejano Run, More Royal, and Changing Ways.

Hip No. 213, Sunset Glow, gr. or ro. f., 2012, Exchange Rate—Perfectforthepart, by Dynaformer, consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent.
A Grade 1 winner and runner-up in last year’s Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf, who sells as a racing or broodmare prospect. Family of Grade 1 winner Andestine.

Hip No. 274, Coin Broker, b. m., 2011, Montjeu—Cash Run, by Seeking the Gold, consigned by Eaton Sales, agent.
A placed runner in England, out of Grade 1 winner Cash Run, and a half-sister to Irish Group 3-placed stakes winner Great War Eagle and Saudi Arabian Horse of the Year Step In Time. Her second dam is Grade 1 winner Shared Interest, who is also the dam of Grade 1 winner Forestry and grandam of Grade 2 winner Golden Spikes. She sells in foal to War Front.

Hip No. 366, b. f., 2015, Tapit—Marketing Mix, by Medaglia d’Oro, consigned by Hill ‘n’ Dale Sales Agency, agent.
The first foal out of multiple Grade 1 winner Marketing Mix, from the family of Grade 1 winner Contredance.

Hip No. 399, Photo Call, b. f., 2011, Galileo—Theann, by Rock of Gibraltar, consigned by Denali Stud, agent.
A Grade 1-winning contender for this year’s Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Turf, selling as a racing or broodmare prospect. Irish One Thousand Guineas winner Halfway To Heaven is in her family.

Hip No. 406, b. f., 2015, Tapit—Refugee, by Unaccounted For, consigned by Eaton Sales, agent.
Grade 1 winners Executiveprivilege and Hoppertunity are half-siblings to this filly. All eight of the dam’s foals to race are winners.

Hip No. 423, dk. b. or br. c., 2015, War Front—Serena’s Cat, by Storm Cat, consigned by Hill ‘n’ Dale Sales Agency, agent.
Not only is this colt a half-brother to multiple Grade 1 winner Honor Code and Grade 2 winner Noble Tune, his half-sister Serena’s Harmony brought a North American weanling record price of $3 million at last year’s Keeneland November sale.

Hip No. 443, gr. or ro. c., 2015, Tapit—Storm Dixie, by Catienus, consigned by Paramount Sales, agent.
Princess of Sylmar, winner of the 2013 Kentucky Oaks, is a half-sister to this colt. His family also includes Canadian champion Youcan’tcatchme and Group 3 winner Rhythm Band.

Hip No. 445, Stormy Sunday, b. m., 2002, Sir Cat—Thinkin’strait, by Highland Park, consigned by Gainesway, agent for Kendall E. Hansen MD, Racing.
The dam of champion juvenile male Hansen sells in foal to Frankel.

Hip No. 450, Take Charge Brandi, ch. f., 2012, Giant’s Causeway—Charming, by Seeking the Gold, consigned by Hill ‘n’ Dale Sales Agency, agent.
The champion 2-year-old filly of 2014 sells as a racing or broodmare prospect. Her dam is a half-sister to champion Will Take Charge and Grade 1 winner Take Charge Indy, out of multiple Grade 1 winner Take Charge Lady.

Hip No. 454, Teammate, gr. or ro. m., 2003, A.P. Indy—Starry Dreamer, by Rubiano, consigned by Hill ‘n’ Dale Sales Agency, agent.
The multiple Grade 2 winner is a half-sister to leading commercial sire War Front and multiple Grade 3 winner Ecclesiastic. She is the dam of three winners from four runners and sells in foal to Candy Ride.

Hip No. 466, b. f., 2015, Galileo—Untouched Talent, by Storm Cat, consigned by Eaton Sales, agent.
Grade 1 winner and popular young stallion Bodemeister is a half-brother to this filly, as is multiple Grade 1-placed Fascinating, who sold for $1.3 million as a yearling. Dam Untouched Talent sold for $5 million at the 2012 Fasig-Tipton November sale.

Hip No. 488, Aurelia’s Belle, b. f., 2011, Lemon Drop Kid—Aurelia, by Danzig, consigned by Hill ‘n’ Dale Sales Agency, agent.
A multiple Grade 3-winning broodmare prospect from the family of champion Althea, Grade 1 winners Ali Oop and Ketoh, Grade 2 winner Twining, and Grade 3 winner Far From Over, among many others.

The second foal out of Grade 1 winner Awesome Maria, who topped the 2013 Keeneland November sale at $4 million.
