Analysis:
ATLANTIC BEACH shows a quick five-furlong gate work at Hawthorne for a barn that sent out juvenile debut winner REMAND at 6-1 odds during last fall's Keeneland meeting.  The second dam, Cindy's Hero, won her maiden in the Grade 1 Del Mar Debutante with a 99 Beyer Speed Figure.  Atlantic Beach made the Keeneland Clocker report on www.keeneland.com for her April 5 work.  According to the report, she "broke very well and showed sharp speed in 22.4 - 34.4 before being geared down by the rider to finish in 48.1."
AROYALSWEET scratched out of the baby race for colts on Thursday for top debut trainer Wesley Ward.  She's bred for speed and shows some quick workouts.
RIDEM UP goes out for the always-dangerous Steve Asmussen barn.  The dam won her career debut as well as a pair of stakes races in Northern California with mid-90 Beyers.
NO MORE YOGI'S is a half-sister to Yogi'ssplashofgold, a filly that blitzed 4 1/2 furlongs in 51.31 when winning her career debut for these connections during the 2007 Keeneland spring meet.  She's bred both sides for speed.
TURTLE and GRAND DISTRACTION go out for low-profile barn that has sent out several live first-time starters at this meet.  The former shows a bullet workout on April 7, but the Keeneland Clocker report for April 1 noted that workmate "Iones Folly was much the best over mate Turtle."  Grand Distraction is the first starter by Breeders' Cup Mile winner Artie Schiller and may want a bit more ground to work with.  SHE'LL HEIR is by an excellent first-out sire, but may have found a tough spot for her debut.

Selections:
1.  Atlantic Beach
2.  Aroyalsweet
3.  Ridem Up

The Play:
Atlantic Beach to Win (#6)

Meet record based on starts, wins, top pick (after scratches) in the money, and profit/loss of that day's play ($2 wager): 3-0-2 (-$12)
