Journeyman Stud in Ocala, Fla., has released the 2015 stud fees for its nine-horse stallion roster. Topping the roster is the state’s leading sire Wildcat Heir, a 14-year-old son of Forest Wildcat whose fee will remain at $10,000. Awesome of Course will see a fee decrease to $5,000 from $7,500, while Hear No Evil’s fee will move to $2,500 from $3,000. “We are very excited and extremely gratified with the success that Journeyman Stud stallions have had this year,” said Brent Fernung, who with wife Crystal established the operation in 2008. “The level of success we’ve reached in such a short time is not only a testament to the quality of our stallions.
