Jockey Morales caught with five buzzers

Email

ALTOONA, Iowa – Jockey Roberto Morales was in possession of five electrical devices apparently intended for use in race riding when he was arrested Friday evening and charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and prescription drugs following a routine search.

The officers of Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation conducted a search in the parking lot just outside of the jockeys’ quarters at Prairie Meadows. The officers conducted similar investigations of three other unnamed riders and nothing illegal was found.

Morales, who was off to a 4-for-79 start to the current meet, was suspended indefinitely by the Board of Stewards this morning.

Come on guys and dolls Jockey Morales is one of a thousand jockeys, who ride daily with electrical devices, many are protected by the Elite Blue Blood Breeders and the hierarchy of the horse racing industry, what comes to mind is Statutes 550.235 - Florida Statues 550.235 which stipulates as a rule of law "Any Persons which includes the high authorities of Horse Racing conniving to fix a horse race refer to web page http://www.flsenate.gov/Laws/Statutes/2012/550.235

You need to take your medication. The safety of the jockey and horses are closely watched at all of the major tracks .
