Jade's Revenge rallies in Poly debut

Jade's Revenge made his Polytrack debut a winning one when getting a well-gauged ride from Rodney Prescott to capture the $50,000 Tejano Run Stakes at Turfway Park in Florence, Ky.

Jade's Revenge, a 4-year-old Quiet American colt who had been training over an all-weather surface at his home base at the Fair Hill training center in Maryland, turned back the 6-5 favorite, Sidcup, to capture the 1o1/8-mile Tejano Run by 1 3/4 lengths. Dynareign finished another two lengths back in third in a field of 11 older horses.

Owned by Bushwood Stables and trained by Graham Motion, Jade's Revenge returned $18.80 with his fourth victory from 17 lifetime starts. He finished in 1:50.11.

Starspangled Gator, the 3-1 second choice, sped off to a sizable lead in swift fractions. Turning for home, he began tiring badly as several back runners, led by Jade's Revenge, hustled past.
