Jacky’s Notion rallied from fourth in the stretch under jockey Oscar Flores to overtake 15-1 outsider Nay’s Back in Saturday night’s $51,200 Fancy Buckles Stakes for West Virginia-bred fillies and mares at Charles Town.

A 3-year-old daughter of Great Notion owned and trained by John Casey, Jacky’s Notion ($14) scored by three-quarters of a length after running 4 1/2 furlongs on a muddy, sealed track in 52.40 seconds. Now 3 for 12 lifetime, she has three wins and pair of seconds since January.

Nay’s Back finished a length ahead of 9-5 second choice Blisstikus. R C’s Daisyduke had to check at the three-eighths pole and finished sixth as the 6-5 favorite.
