Intentional Fever sharp

Intentional Fever has run two big races in a row at double-digit odds, but she figures to be a far shorter price when she makes her stakes debut in the $55,000 Beautiful Day, a six-furlong sprint for 3-year-old fillies at Delaware Park.

Trained by Tony Dutrow, Intentional Fever upset first-level allowance runners at Philadelphia Park as a 28-1 longshot, then ran second to repeat winner Akronism in a second-level allowance locally at 13-1.

Her rivals in the six-horse field include Call Her Gone, who recently wired first-level allowance horses at Philly Park; Broadway Baby, a front-runner who beat Intentional Fever at Laurel in March and is favorably drawn on the rail; and Allude, who came back from a layoff of nearly two months to defeat high-priced optional claimers at Belmont Park.
