Innovator's Circle deadline set for Nov. 2

Entries for the Innovator’s Circle, a contest being held in conjunction with the University of Arizona Global Symposium on Racing and Gaming, are due by Nov. 2, the contest organizers announced this week.

All materials related to the entry must be submitted to the contest organizers by Nov. 2 in order to qualify to be a contest finalist. The finalists will be announced the week after the deadline. All entries that are deemed finalists will be presented to a panel of judges during the symposium, scheduled for Dec. 7-9 in Tucson, Ariz.

The Innovator’s Circle was launched to solicit ideas that could be used by the racing industry. It is structured along the lines of reality-show contests. The individual or team who submits the winning entry will receive a $15,000 award.

The symposium is put on by the university’s Race Track Industry Program. Sponsors of the Innovator’s Circle include the U.S. Trotting Association, Daily Racing Form, and BAM Software.
