Indian Charlie top price at Airdrie

EmailAirdrie Stud in Midway, Ky., has released its 2008 stud fees, and Indian Charlie will top the list at $50,000.

Airdrie also introduces the 2005 juvenile champion, Stevie Wonderboy, at $17,500 and Grade 1 winner Flashy Bull at $10,000.

Indian Charlie's runners this year included Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies and Frizette winner Indian Blessing. His fee last year was listed as private and was reported in SireAverages.com as $40,000.

Three other Airdrie sires are getting fee raises. Harlan's Holiday rises from $17,500 to $25,000. He is the sire of 2007 Grade 3 winner Tasha's Miracle. Include, who was $25,000 this year, will stand for $35,000 in 2008. He is the sire of Grade 1 winner Panty Raid. And Proud Citizen, currently the second-ranked freshman sire, goes from $12,500 to $25,000.

Two stallions will have reduced fees in 2008: Stormin Fever, who drops from $15,000 to $7,500, and Yankee Gentleman, who decreases from $10,000 to $7,500.
