Three Chimneys stallion Ice Box was represented by his first foal last week in Florida

Grade 1 winner Ice Box was represented by his first foal on Jan. 5, a filly born at Buena Vista Farm in Ocala, Fla.

The filly is out of the unraced Bluegrass Cat mare Vision in Blue.

Ice Box, a 7-year-old Pulpit horse, won the Grade 1 Florida Derby in 2010 before finishing a fast-closing second to Super Saver in the Kentucky Derby. Overall, he won three of 16 career starts for earnings of $948,068.

Out of the Tabasco Cat mare Spice Island, Ice Box entered stud at Calumet Farm in 2012 for a fee of $7,500. He was relocated to Three Chimneys Farm in Midway, Ky., following the breeding season, after Calumet was purchased by a trust that is leasing the property to owner Brad Kelley, and will stand this season for $7,500.
