Horse of the day for Tuesday

Arlington Park - Race 3
5 1/2 Furlongs (Turf)
Maiden Special Weight
Fillies. Three and four years old.
Purse $27,000

Pooletta raced wide after breaking from the far outside post over soft turf last time, and still galloped out nicely after the fact. That race was the faster division of turf maiden special weights for fillies on August 25. She starts for the high-percentage Ronny Werner barn, and should sit a good stalking trip while in the clear. According to Formulator 4.1 statistics, Werner clicks at 36% for a $2.74 ROI with older maiden special weight runners in turf sprints. The lightly-raced Pooletta figures to take money, but should be played in exotics as well as multi-race wagers.
Lil Minnlet may prove the main threat. The homebred daughter of Black Minnaloushe ran a career-high Beyer Speed Figure sprinting on the grass against winners two starts back, and should appreciate returning to her preferred surface. She has tactical speed, and shouldn't be too far away when the field turns for home.
Rubber is stuck on the also-eligible list, but she's run solid races in Great Britain, and the barn does well with layoff runners. She showed good speed overseas, and shouldn't be discounted if she does get to strut her stuff.
Mis Excitabull is a half to a first-time turf winner, and there are some European turf bloodlines in her pedigree. She may want to go a bit longer than 5 1/2 furlongs, but should offer plenty of value for her debut run.
Kolinsky adds Lasix for her second lifetime start, and that's a powerful angle in maiden races. The recent bullet work indicates that she's playable 'underneath.' Puhrfect Peach (early speed), My Sweet Song (third off the layoff), and Smoken Rosa may be best used on the bottom of exotic wagers.
