JERONIMOS STORM has finished first on two separate occasions, but was disqualified both times for stretch infractions. He may be the speed of the speed in this spot, and finished a solid second in his first start of the form cycle in his PID debut. He'll be prominent when they turn for home, and gets one more chance to prove himself.
ESSENCE OF GOLD may press the top pick in the early stages, and he improved dramatically with the addition of blinkers last time out. He has yet to gain ground from the stretch call to the wire in his short career, but has upside, and the recent bullet work allays fears of a regression. JIM'S SMOKIN PINOT is still a maiden in the fall of his 5-year-old year, but should get the proper pace setup with several speeds entered. He made up late ground on turf last time out, and will be running hard in the lane.
LOXHATCHEE raced greenly in his debut, but finished evenly, and it's nice to see him wheel back on relatively short rest for his second lifetime start. Expect an improved showing. SILVER LIGHT makes the important third start of the form cycle for top connections, but was the beaten favorite in his last two races. His numbers are certainly good enough for top honors here.

1. Jeronimos Storm
2. Essence of Gold
3. Jim's Smokin Pinot
