HOME TO PEACHTREE was the victim of an indecisive ride by Julien Leparoux last time out as the gelding was halfway through an early opening on the inside before being wrestled back to track the pace in a pocket position. He finished evenly along the rail that day, and was somewhat flattered when the winner returned to finish third in a 'n1x' allowance. Expect Leparoux to let his mount go from the gate tonight, and they should be prominent when the field turns for home. MATICAL CAT adds Lasix for the first time, and that's a powerful angle in juvenile maiden races. Trainer William Million shows a flat-bet profit over the last five years when giving 2-year-olds Lasix for the first time (according to Formulator 4.1 stats). HAUTAIN goes two sprints to a route for the important third start of the form cycle, and he is bred to appreciate a distance of ground. He was no match for the classy Belgravia in his debut, then was stuck outside in the slop in his most recent race. SAYWANTENAYO didn't have the easiest of trips in his debut, and he was facing a solid maiden special weight group at Churchill that day. Expect normal second-out improvement for Ken McPeek. LEMON CUSTARD faced a promising juvenile at Churchill, but the late-runner will need some pace in order to properly setup his late kick.

The selection: Home to Peachtree to win (9/5 odds or more)
