I'M BULLETPROOF found a mile out of his reach when facing open company at Del Mar, but should appreciate turning back to a sprint, and the addition of blinkers may allow him to focus better on the task at hand. The drop back into statebred competition should only help, and he may end up tripping out nicely from stalking range.
WARREN'S YODLER looms the horse to beat after a pair of runner-up performances. He didn't break well going two turns at Fairplex last time out, but still rallied nicely in the lane. He's stepping up a bit in claiming price, however, and may be overbet.
BEV'S EX hasn't run in over a year, but he returns as a gelding at a reduced level, and has been working steadily at Hollywood. He fired a bullet workout nine days ago, and should show speed from his inside post.
HIGH AND HOT makes first start for new barn after a pop and stop effort in December. He returns with blinkers, and is eligible to show early zip. ANOTHER EVENT failed to change leads when finishing ahead of I'm Bulletproof at Del Mar, then failed to stay against open claimers over the bullring. He gots a solid rider switch to Gryder, and may work out an inside-out stalking trip.
