INGLEWOOD, Calif - Unzip Me's 2012 campaign remains on pause. Trainer Marty Jones confirmed Tuesday that the 6-year-old mare will skip the $70,000 Great Lady M. Stakes, a six-furlong turf race Sunday at Hollywood that could have pushed her closer to the million-dollar mark in earnings.

"I'm having some trouble with her," Jones said without elaborating.

Unzip Me has not raced since winning the $86,000 Wishing Well Stakes on Jan. 29 at Santa Anita, and has not worked since April 29. Unzip Me has won 14 races and $959,228 from 25 starts and was once the top female turf sprinter in California. That designation, however, has passed to Mizdirection, expected to be heavily favored Sunday in search of her fifth straight. Mizdirection has won 6 of 10 overall.
