Hollywood pick six carryover reaches $405,192

INGLEWOOD, Calif. - There is a pick six carryover of $405,192 for Friday's evening program at Hollywood Park after bettors failed to conquer the best for the second consecutive day on Thursday.

Friday's program begins at 7 p.m.; the pick six covers races three through eight.

Here are the changes for the pick six races:

The third race is run over a mile on turf for maidens. There are eight entrants, but only seven betting interests since Dirty Windows and Magic Wheat have common ownership who is coupled. The race is led by Ron Cherry, who is 7-5 on the morning-line.

There are no changes in the fourth race, a sprint for maiden claimers over 6 1-2 furlongs. Devlish is the 2-1 morning-line favorite and breaks from post 7 in a field of nine.

In the fifth race, the also-eligibles - Spoonman, Mayor Murphy, and T's Cafe - have been scratched. Run over 1 1-16 miles on turf, the race is restricted to 3-year-old claimers. He's Majestic makes his first start as a gelding, but is 20-1 on the morning-line. Patrick Valenzuela, the leading rider of this meeting, will ride Italian Bar Road.

In the sixth race, Country By Nature is the 2-1 morning line favorite in a six-furlong dash for $22,500 to $25,000 claimers. A Major Pleasure, 9-2 on the morning-line, makes his first start as a gelding.

In the featured seventh race, an allowance race over 1 1-16 miles on turf, Live Your Dreams, who was stakes-placed here last year, makes her first start of 2002. Trained by Neil Drysdale, she will be heavily favored against five other fillies and mares.

In the eight race, there are no major changes in a filly and mare sprint over 6 1-2 furlongs for maiden claimers.
