Hollywood pick six carryover: $747,000

INGLEWOOD, Calif.-A two-day pick six carryover of $747,253 will be the highlight of an eight-race program at Hollywood Park on Thursday.

The pick six covers the third through eighth races, and several of the races are not very deep. All of the pick six races are run on the main track; there are no turf races on Thursday.

The third race is a $25,000 claimer over 1 1/16 miles. Informed, trained by Bob Baffert, will be a strong favorite.

The fourth race, a maiden claimer over seven furlongs, has nine entrants, following the scratch of Holy Mystery. Vanaldi and Deputy Prize are the top contenders.

The next two races are more wide open. The fifth race, run over seven furlongs for $12,500 claimers, has 11 entrants. Cousins Lew, Celtic Sword, and Refinery are the leading contenders.

The sixth race, for maiden claimer over 7 1/2 furlongs, is led by Ann's Approval, Tallahsocean and Molitta.

Declan's Moon, the champion 2-year-old male of 2004, is part of the seventh race over 1 1/16 miles. He must beat Zappa, Tall Texan and Mostacolli Mort in a field of seven. Zappa is eligible to be claimed for $125,000.

In the final race, for 2-year-old maiden claimers over 5 1/2 furlongs, Bajan Kitty, Monica's Edge and Lovely Lolly are scratched, allowing Chatty Lulu to draw in from the also-eligible list. Ten Churros is the 2-1 favorite on the morning line.
