INGLEWOOD, Calif. - A string of upsets on Saturday has led to a pick six carryover of $101,489 for Sunday’s nine-race program at Betfair Hollywood Park.
Sunday’s pick six covers the fourth through ninth races on a program that begins at 1 p.m. The first race of the pick six sequence is approximately 2:30 p.m.
There were early scratches on Saturday for Sunday’s sixth race – Jairzihno, Dugan Bill, and Cahill Report.
The main race of the day is the $70,000 Desert Stormer Handicap for fillies and mares over six furlongs, featuring the Grade 1 winners Switch, Teddy’s Promise, and Turbulent Descent. The Desert Stormer is Sunday’s seventh race.
There is a carryover of $28,551 in Sunday’s super high five on the ninth race, a maiden claimer over six furlongs.

What ever happened to the West Coast Pick6 Mania that used to go bezerk when there is a slight carryover?
Six or seven years ago when there is a (slight or tinny) carryover, say $89,000 on the previous day, the fans go nuts the next day pushing the pool to over one million dollars.
Now it would need a 2-day carryover in excess of of $300,000 in order to get fans excited in pushing the pool over one million dollars.
How a short time has changed?????

She wintered at Payson Park before working four times here on the Poly, and should be ready to rumble with Da Silva riding for a live barn. GLORIOUS ANGEL ran against a speed bias when fifth in an April 21 maiden special. Trainer Mark Casse hit with 20% of his second-out droppers to maiden-claiming company over the past five years ($1.50 ROI). MORNING HAS BROKEN was a chalky second vs.
