Rosengold will aim for his fourth straight win in the Tsunami Slew Stakes on June 23.

INGLEWOOD, Calif. – Rosengold, the winner of two stakes for 3-year-olds on turf at Santa Anita this year, worked six furlongs on turf in 1:14 at Betfair Hollywood Park on Sunday, preparing for a start in the $70,000 Tsunami Slew Stakes on June 23.

Trained by Julio Canani for Bill Currin, Rosengold has won his last three starts: a maiden race in January and two turf stakes in March – the Baffle Stakes on the hillside turf course and the Pasadena Stakes over a mile.

Martin Garcia has the mount on Rosengold, who is a leading candidate for the $100,000 Oceanside Stakes over a mile on turf at Del Mar on July 17.

The Tsunami Slew Stakes, run over a mile on turf, is expected to draw Gabriel Charles, who won the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint Preview on the hillside turf course at Santa Anita in November. Unraced since finishing second in the Eddie Logan Stakes at Santa Anita in December, Gabriel Charles worked six furlongs on turf in 1:13.20 on Sunday.

The leading race of the upcoming week at Hollywood Park is the $150,000 Hollywood Oaks for 3-year-old fillies over 1 1/16 miles on the main track.

Fiftyshadesofhay, the winner of the Grade 2 Black-Eyed Susan Stakes at Pimlico on May 17, and Iotapa, who won the Railbird Stakes here May 19, are leading contenders. Iotapa and Fiftyshadesofhay were second and third behind 2012 champion 2-year-old filly Beholder in the Grade 1 Santa Anita Oaks on April 6.

On Sunday, Iotapa, who is trained by John Sadler, worked seven furlongs in 1:27.20.

Other probable starters in the Hollywood Oaks are Ciao Bella Luna, Doinghardtimeagain, Ondine, and Unbridled Wee.
